When can I get AnyFront Camera?
AnyFront Camera is coming to the App Store on 23 October. It requires iOS 27 or later.
Which iPhones does it work on?
Any iPhone that runs iOS 27 or later. The camera and all of the manual controls work on every one of them. The cover-screen features need an iPhone Duo.
How much does AnyFront Camera cost?
The camera and all of the manual controls are free on every compatible iPhone. The cover-screen features, which need an iPhone Duo, are unlocked with a one-time in-app purchase: US$9.99 in the US, and the price varies by country.
Do I pay once or every month?
Once. There is no subscription. The cover-screen features on iPhone Duo are a single one-time in-app purchase, and the camera is free.
What works on an iPhone that is not a Duo?
The whole free manual camera: manual ISO, shutter speed, white balance and focus, exposure compensation, AE/AF lock, histogram, focus peaking, zebras, grid and level. The cover-screen features work only on iPhone Duo. See the features page for the full list.
What can the cover screen show?
On iPhone Duo, it can show a photo or video from your library, one of eight original animations called grabbers (Bubbles, Peekaboo, Rainbow Spiral, Bouncy Ball, Confetti Burst, Silly Face, Fish Tank and Smile Countdown), or a live mirror of the shot so the people you photograph can see themselves. The cover screen page has pictures.
How do I choose what the cover screen shows?
From the inner screen. Open the Cover Screen sheet and pick Grabbers, Photo, Video or Mirror. You can switch whenever you like without leaving the camera.
Why is nothing showing on the cover screen?
iOS decides when the cover screen is available. It is used only while the iPhone Duo is unfolded, AnyFront Camera is open in front of you and the camera is running, and it switches off when you fold the phone or leave the app. It comes back when you return. Also check that cover-screen display is switched on inside the app, and write to support if it still does not appear.
Does it work with the iPhone Duo folded?
Yes, as a normal camera. Folded, the iPhone Duo works like a regular phone and AnyFront Camera runs on the outer display. The cover-screen features are used only while the phone is unfolded.
How do I restore my purchase?
Use Restore Purchases in the app's settings, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with. This is useful on a new or reset phone.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. You can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Does AnyFront Camera collect my data?
No. There is no account, no ads and no analytics, and the app sends nothing anywhere because there is no server. It asks for the camera to take photos and videos, the microphone so videos have sound, and permission to add to your photo library to save them. Photos you pick for the cover screen are only displayed on your device. The full privacy policy is short.
Do RAW, ProRAW, ProRes and Log work on every iPhone?
No, they depend on your iPhone. RAW and ProRAW photos, and ProRes and Log video, are offered where the iPhone supports them. Controls the hardware does not support are simply not shown.
Where are my photos and videos saved?
In your Photos library, like the built-in camera.
